Due to rising COVID-19 concerns in Greene County, a few public buildings have been temporarily closed to the public.

Scranton Mayor Cole Gustoff tells Raccoon Valley Radio that due to increased positive cases of the virus, City Hall is closed to the public until further notice. Churdan City Clerk Krystal Kempf tells Raccoon Valley Radio there has been an increase of cases identified in the city and therefore City Hall has also been closed to the public. Both cities are continuing to provide services, but residents are not allowed inside either building.

Conversely, the City of Grand Junction is preparing to open its swimming pool. According to City officials, minor repairs are being made to the pool and the tentative date for the pool to be open to the public is July 1st. Governor Kim Reynolds allowed swimming pools to be open to the public earlier this month.
