The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors discussed a couple of Information Technology matters at their recent meeting.

IT Administrator Brian Hoffman presented them a couple different vendors for purchasing video conferencing equipment for their meetings. The Board approved a motion for Hoffman to move forward on pursuing the project. Hoffman also mentioned to them that the state recently made it a requirement for County Auditor’s web pages to have a .gov domain. The County currently has a .org domain, and Hoffman says they will eventually have to make the change. He mentioned that Secretary of State Paul Pate set aside $1 million to assist counties in changing their domains. No action was taken regarding the item.
