Dallas County reported 13 new COVID-19 cases Thursday and Adair County had two, according to the latest information from the Iowa Department of Public Health.

The latest increase brings the total number of positive tests in Dallas County to 1,097 since the outbreak began, to go along with 29 deaths and 695 patients recovered. Adair County’s total is now at 14 cases, with 11 reported fully recovered. There was no increase in Greene or Guthrie counties Thursday, with the former sitting at 28 cases and 19 recovered, and the latter at 63 cases, 48 recovered, and four deaths. The new local cases were among 491 reported across Iowa, for a total of 27,096. There were also three more coronavirus-related deaths across the state, bringing the total of casualties in Iowa to 694.

The IDPH also reports there have been 247,976 negative tests to date, as well as 16,990 patients recovered. Raccoon Valley Radio will continue to bring the latest information on COVID-19 as it affects the listening area.
