ADM trailed by 5-1 in the fifth inning on Friday Night against Indianola, but came back with five unanswered runs and were able to win on a walk off error to get their third straight victory 6-5.
Jaxson Millsap came up with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning and with the bases loaded, and hit a sharp drive to the Indianola shortstop, who was unable to corral the ball in time as all ADM runners were safe, including the winning run scored by Ethan Juergens. The break for the Tigers ultimately gave them the game and their third straight win as well.
Indianola got 4 in the third aided by two ADM errors, but ADM was able to get one back. In the bottom of the fifth trailing by four, the Tigers were able to send eight to the plate and got big doubles from Chase Anderson and Tate Stine-Smith that ignited the rally and got ADM tied at five.
Zach Fuller got the win going two scoreless and striking out the side in the seventh. Stine-Smith threw five innings, giving up 2 earned runs and creating six strikeouts.
For the Tigers, they conclude their first week with a 3-1 mark, and will be back on the diamond at home on Monday to take on the Tigers of Carroll.
