Freshmen Aliya Yanga was fantastic in Perry on Wednesday night, throwing a shutout in a 9-0 victory over the Jayettes. Yanga pitched a complete game giving up only 3 walks and 2 hits on the night, while also striking out 10. Her fastball and off speed pitches were working effectively all night long and help keep the Jayettes off balance.

After it being 3-0 after five, ADM was able to tack on six more runs in the final couple of frames and were lead by senior Abbie Hlas’s 3 for 4 night with two doubles, a home run, three runs scored and 2 RBIs as well. The team was able to tally 10 hits on the night, with seven of the nine starters able to record a hit.

The victory was ADMs fifth straight in the series over their Dallas County Rival.
