The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors approved payout of compensation time for facilities employees Brandon Thompson and Rob Tallman Tuesday.
They also approved authorizing a loan agreement to issue $8.7 million in general obligation bonds for the law enforcement center project and approved a payroll change notice for Transfer Station employee Justin James. Finally, they approved a fireworks permit for Merri and Weston Grow and made appointments to the Civil Service Commission. The governmental body meets at least once annually to handle any hiring or other personnel issues for the Sheriff’s Office. Three new members were needed, one of which to be appointed by City Attorney Brenna Bird, who was Luann Waldo. The Board then appointed Rita King for a term ending in December of 2021, and Rod Nelsen for a term ending in 2023.
