The West Central Valley Wildcat Softball team started the season with a bang on Monday night against Guthrie County rival Panorama, with the Wildcats able to put up 20 runs in a final 20-11. The team record 19 hits, with 15 singles, 3 doubles, and a triple.

They were lead by freshmen Kamyrn Nourse, who was able to record four hits and five RBIs on the night to pace the offensive attack. Seven different Wildcat players were able to record a RBI in the game, and the team was able to put up some great at bats as they got nine walks as well.

Marissa Hagen was able to get the victory of the night, as she was able to tally her first complete game of the season.

Wildcat softball will be back tonight when they travel to take on Ogden.
