A reminder for Jefferson residents: the City’s cemetery cleanup week starts next week.

From June 15th-19th, any items that are not in a permanent vase on or near a gravesite in the Jefferson Municipal Cemetery or the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery will be removed by City crews. This happens annually to help crews better maintain the cemeteries throughout the rest of the year.
