Wednesday, June 10th
5:07am: An officer removed a bat from the residence at 507 North Maple Street.
9:45am: Becky Freeman reported an Abandoned Bicycle in the yard at 205 North Maple Street. The bike was placed in the Impound Lot.
10:27am: Steve Kohl reported two parked vehicles had been sideswiped overnight while legally parked in the 600 Block of South Vine Street. A 2006 Honda Accord, owned by Steven Kohl of Jefferson and a 2004 Lexus 330, owned by Adam Warren of Spencer were struck. The Warren vehicle suffered a reported $2000.00 in damages, while the Kohl vehicle had a reported $1000.00 in damages. The officer is working to determine who the other vehicle involved is.
12:11pm: A caller advised of a German Shepherd running loose in the 300 Block of East Vest Street. The officer located the animal and placed it in the garage of the owner after speaking to them by phone.
12:54pm: An officer checked 301 North Elm Street after dispatch received two 911Calls from the business. The officer learned the business was having phone issues and all was fine at the location.
4:29pm: An officer arrested Daniel Joseph Tasler, 28 of Jefferson at 715 South Elm Street on an outstanding Jefferson PD Arrest Warrant. The warrant is for, “Violation of a Protective Order.”
6:53pm: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Katie Ratliff of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Wear Safety Belt.”
7:53pm: An officer arrested Nathaniel Clark Aldrich, 32 of Jefferson at 306 West Washington Street. Aldrich had an outstanding Greene County S.O. Arrest Warrant for, “Driving While Barred.”
8:12pm: Dalton Weber requested an officer at 600 West Washington Street for a possible No Contact Order Violation. The officer determined a violation had not occurred. Weber was placed under arrest by the officer on an outstanding Greene County Arrest Warrant for, “Domestic Abuse Assault 2nd Offense.”
9:38pm: Officers removed a bat from the residence at 402 West Lincoln Way Street.
