Governor Kim Reynolds announced Wednesday that more COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted.
Starting Friday, all restaurants, bars, fitness centers, casinos, race tracks, senior citizen centers, adult daycare facilities, salons and barbershops, theaters and performance venues, along with museums, zoos, bowling alleys, indoor playgrounds, campgrounds, swimming pools, retailers, tanning salons, massage therapy facilities, bingo halls, libraries, tattoo parlors, and malls can operate at normal capacity levels. Six feet distancing between patrons are still required for all establishments, such as tables in restaurants, exercise equipment inside a fitness center and gaming machines inside a casino.
All establishments and facilities must continue to implement social distancing and increased hygiene practices. These changes will be in effect from Friday through June 25th.
Additionally, parades, festivals, farmers markets, social and community related events of more than ten people will be allowed as long as social distancing practices and hygienic and sanitation practices are being done. These changes will be in effect through June 25th. Governor Reynolds still urges those with preexisting medical conditions and those aged 65 and older limit activities outside the home.
