Tuesday, June 9th

9:27am: Junior Lopez reported young children playing around the carwash at in the 300 Block of   West McKinley Street. The officer spoke to the youngsters, who had found baby birds on the ground and were watching them.

12:46pm: Nancy Timmons requested a Welfare Check on a male in the 100 Block of West Reed Street. The officer later spoke to the male and learned he was fine.

1:21pm: Nicki Henderson reported receiving a Phone Scam Call. The caller was attempting to get her SS Number. No information was provided by Henderson.

2:28pm: Phil Siglin reported he believed the arrows had been slightly bent on the Doreen Wilbur Statue at Lincoln Way and Vine Streets. The officer is investigating.

7:32pm: Jeff Cunningham reported a storage shed was broken into at the Jefferson Little League Complex at 510 North Pinet. A doorknob had been destroyed to gain access to the building. Several valuable items were still in the shed. The officer is working to determine if anything was taken and still investigating.

10:28pm: A caller advised she and her boyfriend had been involved in a verbal argument and he had just left in a vehicle. She advised he was driving Carelessly in the vehicle when he left. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
