The City of Dawson is currently under a boil order after a water main break Monday.

Dawson city staff informed Raccoon Valley Radio of the situation Monday evening, and said they’re working to repair the break and test the water to ensure it’s drinkable. Until then, residents are advised to boil all water prior to consumption in order to kill any potential bacteria. Water can still be used for cleaning and bathing.
