The Greene County Medical Center recently announced its new CEO.

The Board of Trustees hired Tracy Warner, as she moves from interim to full-time CEO. She has worked as the Director of Rural Health Resources for 14 years with UnityPoint Health-Des Moines. During that time, she also worked in partnership with the medical center. She has provided numerous resources for rural hospitals, including trustee and leadership education, recruiting senior leaders, supporting strategic planning, networking among key hospital personnel, regulatory compliance, and job shadowing, among others.

Warner previously worked for 13 years in various policy-related roles with the Iowa Hospital Association, including as Vice President of Finance Policy. She took over as interim CEO following the resignation of Carl Behne this past January. 

Warner has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Kansas. She is married to Rick and they have four children and three grandchildren.
