vote-and-election-sign

Today is the final opportunity for Guthrie County voters to cast their ballots for the primary election.

There are no contested local races for the Democrat and Republican candidates, but there are multiple Republicans running for the nomination for Iowa’s Third District congressional race, and several Democrats running for one of Iowa’s U.S. Senate seats. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. at three locations in Guthrie County. Voters who live in the black, gold, red, and white precincts must vote at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Guthrie Center; those in the blue, brown, and green precincts will go to Veteran’s Auditorium in Panora; and the purple precinct will vote at Stuart Congregational Church. Curbside voting is also available. For more information contact the Auditor’s Office at 641-747-3619. Listen to 107.9 FM, KKRF after the polls close for the unofficial results.
