Guthrie County residents that would like to honor a loved one for National Cancer Survivors Day can take part in Guthrie County Relay for Life’s “Scoop the Loop for Hope” next Saturday.

Orders are being accepted through tomorrow to purchase a yard sign that will be placed on the main drag of Adair, Guthrie Center, Panora, or Stuart for Scoop the Loop events that will occur that evening. A donation of $10 is suggested, and orders can be turned into Exchange State Bank in Adair, Guthrie County State Bank in Guthrie Center and Panora, or Karl Chevrolet in Stuart. You can also send them to the address included on the order form. Relay for Life teams, caregivers, survivors, and more are encouraged to decorate their vehicles next Saturday night, and Raccoon Valley Radio will be broadcasting live at Hometown Foods in Guthrie Center.
