A reminder for Greene County residents, there’s still time to vote early for the June Primary Election.

Greene County Auditor Jane Heun says the Greene County Courthouse is open today from 7am-3pm for those wanting to vote in person ahead of Election Day. Safety precautions will be taken at the polls to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The final day to vote early at the courthouse will be Monday from 8:30am-5pm. Those wanting to vote must use the east entry door. Curbside will also be available, and individuals must call the number on the curbside sign to get assistance. 

The Auditor’s Office reports as of Friday, of the 1,396 absentee ballots that have been requested, 436 ballots have been returned. Absentee ballots must be postmarked by no later than Monday, June 1st.
