Greene and Guthrie counties are among those being offered free Wi-Fi access by Landus Cooperative.
Whether it’s communicating with friends and relatives, keeping up with school work, utilizing telehealth services, and taking part in other online activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, Landus Cooperative is making guest Wi-Fi access available in the parking lot of 10 of its cooperative locations across Iowa including Bayard, Paton, and Yale. Residents are asked to use the hotspots from their car in the designated parking spaces between the hours of 6 a.m.-9 p.m. and maintain social distancing. Users are advised they will not be granted access to Landus Cooperative facilities. This initiative is part of a larger effort by Land O’Lakes, Incorporated, a member-owned cooperative. This service is anticipated to last indefinitely, with possible additions of other communities in the future.
