The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning and evening in regular session.

The morning meeting will begin at 9 a.m. with consideration of the contract renewal for County Engineer Al Miller. That will be followed by consideration of a change order for the law enforcement center project, as well as a resolution to rename Quinlan Court to “Thin Blue Line Lane.” Next, the Board will consider a Highway 6 corridor access management agreement, a software and maintenance purchase for the Treasurer’s QMatic system, and the contract renewal for the Emergency Medical Service’s I Am Responding system.

At 9:30 a.m. there will be a public hearing continued from a previous meeting, involving reclassifying Ute Court to level “A” status. Other items under consideration during the morning meeting include: a development agreement with Legacy Materials; vehicle purchase requests for the Sheriff’s Office; fiscal year 2020 department budget adjustments; the farm lease with DMACC; and a funding request from the Mid-Iowa Development Fund. The Board will also have a workshop on temporary public building health and safety policy.

The Supervisors will then reconvene at 6 p.m. to hold a public hearing on the vacation of a portion of County Road R-16.
