Youth is a wonderful thing, and for the West Central Valley baseball team for 2020, is one that is projected to have a lot of youth on the roster. Right now on the quikstats website, the Wildcats are going to have a roster with a lot of underclassmen with seven freshmen and a couple of sophomores as well. Four juniors and only one senior will round out the roster, so this is a team that is going through a youth movement.
A pair of freshmen that played on varsity in 8th grade will be the leading returning players for the Wildcats in Braiden Beane with 28 hits last year and Blaise Beane with 23 hits. Though they are both young, their experience could be key for the Wildcats after only a four win season last year.
That said, there won’t be high expectations in the West Central Activities Conference this year, and for the Wildcats of West Central Valley, this year will be key to the future, with a lot of young players to get varsity experience.
