A Davenport man was arrested Tuesday evening on several charges after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase on Highway 141 in Dallas County.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began at around 6:45 p.m. as a Woodward Police Officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a tan Buick Le Sabre. The suspect did not pull over and a pursuit was initiated. The vehicle travelled west on 141 and reached speeds over 100 miles-per-hour. A Sheriff’s Deputy was able to deploy stop sticks in Perry, which successfully brought an end to the chase at 6:52 p.m. The driver was identified at 34-year-old Ryan Charles Greving of Davenport.
Greving was arrested and charged with serious misdemeanors for OWI – 2nd offense, assault on a peace officer, possession of a dangerous weapon, and eluding. He is currently being held in Dallas County Jail on $5,000 cash only bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
