Paton-Churdan defeated Southeast Webster-Grand (Burnside) in a high school basketball non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday night in Churdan. The Rockets won the girls’ game 66-49 and were 77-46 winners in the boys’ contest. The games were the first of the season for both P-C teams. The Rockets go to Charter Oak on Friday to begin Rolling Valley Conference play vs. Charter Oak-Ute.
