The Perry School Board convened Monday evening in regular session.
The meeting began with Superintendent Clark Wicks reporting on the vertical alignment conversations for fall 2020, which involves carrying over learning from one grade to the next to remain consistent. He also gave an update on the wrestling/multipurpose room and industrial technology facility project, and offered thoughts on capturing instructional time for the 2020-21 school year. The Board was also updated on the possibilities for the middle school renovation. In general business, they approved a food purchasing agreement, revisions to several Board policies, and personnel changes. The Board tabled a service agreement with Street Smarts for driver’s education, which will return for consideration at their June meeting.
