Heads up for Greene County residents: the County Recorder’s office will be closed starting tomorrow.

County Recorder Marcia Tasler says her office will be closed Wednesday through Friday due to their computer programs switching software. The Greene County Board of Supervisors previously approved an agreement with Eagle Recorder to handle the vital records of the county. The decision was made due to Tyler Technologies no longer supporting the current computer software.

Tasler adds, her office will continue to accept paperwork from residents, but the paperwork will not be recorded electronically until next week.
