The Dallas Center-Grimes Boys’ Track and Field season could have been dominant and highly successful, but Covid-19 put a stop to the any aspirations the Mustangs, or any other school had this spring sports season.

For many student-athletes, it would have been the final season to sport their schools’ colors and uniform, so we’ll take a moment to recognize a senior that didn’t get his final chance to shine.  DC-G Track and Field Captain, Drew Bormann.

DC-G asked the Senior some questions regarding his future and advice to younger Mustangs and Fillies.

Drew said that he plans on attending Iowa State in Ames this fall and major in business and nutrition.  Bormann said his favorite Track and Field memory was chasing down Pella and Ankeny Centennial in the Distance Medley race at Waukee.  Drew Bormann also gave some advice to future Mustangs and Fillies, “Find something you are passionate about, and run with it.”
