As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, Guthrie County Hospital and Clinics is taking additional precautions to protect the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and the public.

All patients and visitors are now required to wear a face mask when entering Guthrie County Hospital and their clinic locations as per recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Those who have their own mask are encouraged to bring them, or the public can contact Guthrie County Public Health at 641-747-3972 to obtain a handmade cloth mask. If you do not have a mask upon arrival, the hospital or clinic will provide you with one.

Chief Nursing Officer Greg Opseth also announces that effective immediately, all patients visiting the clinics must attend alone if possible, and they will be screened for temperature and COVID-19 symptoms upon arrival. Public dining at Sneakers Cafe and the Guthrie County Hospital Fitness Center remains closed at this time, though curbside delivery for breakfast and lunch is still available, and the number to reach is 641-332-3818.
