Due to changes in the State of Iowa guidance concerning funeral services, the public is now  invited to attend the graveside service for Dixie Mengel, 88, formerly of Paton and Jefferson, which will be held Friday, at 2:00 PM at the Paton Township Cemetery. Social distancing is still required. Survivors include: Children, Deb Nugent of Nevada, Danie Roper of Paton, Joe Mengel of Des Moines, Jeff Mengel of Elgin, Illinois, Diane Allison of Clive, Jed Mengel of Des Moimnes and Jim Mengel of Des Moines.
