A weekly event will be wrapping up tonight in Jefferson.

“Scoop the Loop” will take place tonight at 7pm around the downtown square in Jefferson. While participants are welcomed to join the fun by traveling around the square in their vehicles, which they can decorate as well, there are some things to keep in mind to stay safe and practice social distancing. Greene County Public Health Director Becky Wolf explains what those reminders are.

“We’ve got to stay in our cars, not have people approaching us in our cars, not trading vehicles during the Scoop the Loop, and not congregating and maintaining that social distance of six-feet or farther.”

The final Scoop the Loop is free and open to the public.
