Wednesday, April 22nd

12:43am: Carroll PD advised of a Missing Juvenile from their city. They believed the male to be heading westbound in a vehicle on 220th Street. The officer located the reported vehicle at 606 Hwy. 30 East and spoke to several occupants. The reported subject was located in the van. All persons were brought to the LEC and picked up by family members.

5:53am: Trevor Lawton reported a Suspicious Vehicle parked behind his residence at 213 East Wilcoxway. The vehicle was partially on his property but parked in the Freshman Parking Lot for the Greene County High School. The officer spoke to the vehicle’s owner and it was removed.

12:25pm: City Hall reported a Food Vending Truck was operating in the 200 Block of West Washington Street with an expired City Permit. The officer advised the business owner to contact City Hall and acquire the proper permit.

1:42pm: Marlene Anderson reported the Theft of Prescription Medications. The officer learned the actual theft had occurred in Denison and sent her to that department to make the report.

1:51pm: Yvette Bardole reported a Suspicious Van parked in the 400 Block of North Locust Street. The officer located the vehicle, which had a flat tire. The officer is monitoring the vehicle to make sure it is removed before a “48 Hour Parking Violation” occurs.

2:35pm: Rich Burkhardt spoke with an officer about sand on the roadway at East Head and North Cedar Streets.

3:37pm: Anthony Renner turned in some Credit Cards he had located in a hanger at the Jefferson Airport. The officer is working to return the found items to their owner.

7:14pm: Matt Goff requested an officer at 502 North Vine Street for a Domestic Argument between a married couple there. The officer arrived and spoke to the female, who advised of a verbal argument only. The male party had left the residence to cool off and no assistance was needed.

8:44pm: Kitten day requested a Welfare Check on a male subject in the 400 Block of West McKinley Street. The officer contacted the male and spoke with him. The officer determined the subject to not be a harm to himself.

10:30pm: Michelle Richardson requested a Welfare Check on a juvenile female that had threatened harm to herself to Richardson’s son. The officer determined the juvenile did not live in Jefferson and forwarded the complaint to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

11:35pm: An officer located an Open Business Door at 900 Hwy. 30 East. While searching the business, the officer located an employee working inside.

11:43pm: An officer located an Open Business Door at 509 East Gallop Road. The officer secured the business.
