The Iowa Department of Public Health announced there were 257 new positive tests for COVID-19 in the state Monday, including seven new cases in Dallas County.
There have now been 3,159 individuals in the state who have contracted the virus, with 52 of them residing in Dallas County. However, the Dallas County Health Department points out that 35 of the infected individuals in the County have already recovered, and there have been no virus-related deaths. Statewide, there have been 22,661 negative tests, 1,235 people who have fully recovered, and 79 deaths. The IDPH also points out that over 60% of patients have required no hospitalization.
