The Iowa Department of Public Health announced 10 additional COVID-19 related deaths around the state Saturday, along with 181 new positive tests.

The newly reported casualties bring the statewide total to 74, with the most recent instances including: one person between age 41-60 and two over 81-years-old in Linn County; one between 41-60 in Tama County; one person each between 61-80 in Appanoose and Louisa counties; two between 61-80 and one over 81 in Polk County; and one over 81 in Muscatine County. There are also now 2,513 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state, including 45 in Dallas County, four in Guthrie, and one each in Greene and Adair counties. There have been no reported deaths in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.

The IDPH also emphasizes there have been over 20,000 negative tests to date, and 1,095 infected individuals who have fully recovered.
