The 2020 Raccoon River Conference All-Conference Art Team was announced recently, though the process this year was different than past years.

The RRC Art Show was not allowed to happen physically because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, individual art teachers throughout the conference nominated students and submitted examples of their work. Several students from Perry and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn were included among the honorees. ADM artists who made the list include seniors Delaney Bertman, Grace Hatchitt, and Sebastion Steelman, and junior Joyce Kennedy. The Perry honorees were all seniors, including Neveah Carter, Adrianna Escalante, Angel Ferretti, Jasmin Olmos, and Giselle Ruiz.

The RRC selection committee emphasized that the 50 students selected for the All-Conference Art Team demonstrated excellent artwork and performance. They also thanked the participants and teachers for their flexibility in the altered process for selection, and offered their congratulations to each of the honorees.
