The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board will convene Monday evening for a special session.
The first items on the agenda involve the general obligation school bonds for the new elementary building, which include consideration of sealed bids for the bonds and a resolution directing the sale. Next, the Board will consider a resolution for pandemic response and emergency suspension policy related to COVID-19. That will be followed by consideration of student make-up days and certified employees work expectations for the school closure through April 10th.
Finally, the Board will consider approval of early payment of bills and claims prior to the regular April Board meeting due to the limited staff available as a result of the coronavirus. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Board Room at the District Administration Center in Adel. It’s open to the public, however, due to social distancing recommendations, the community is not advised to attend unless they have pressing business.
