If there’s any good news to bring with everything that is happening with the 2019 novel coronavirus is gas prices continue to drop.
In the latest fuel report from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, the average price of gasoline fell in Iowa this week. Gas prices fell by $0.12 on average to $1.88 per gallon. According to the American Automobile Association (AAA) the $0.12 drop in gasoline prices is a total of $.70 lower than last year at this time. Retail diesel prices also fell in the state this week by $.09 to a statewide average of $2.41.
According to AAA, this is the fourth consecutive week that Iowa’s gas prices have dropped at the pumps.
