Tuesday, March 24th

1:31am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a traffic stop on 220th Street near N Avenue.

1:58am: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 700 block of South 14th Street, Grand Junction. Daniel Newton 30 of Grand Junction was charged with trespass and an arrest warrant has been requested for burglary 3rd degree.

4:27am: A deputy removed a deer on U Avenue and 220th Street.

4:58pm: A deputy investigated a custody issue in the 1100 block of Eaton Avenue.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
