A Guthrie Center man was recently convicted of a felony drug charge.
Court documents show that 31-year-old Ricky Roy Harrison was found guilty of an amended charge of conspiring to manufacture, deliver, or possess with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a class C felony. Harrison was given a suspended 10 year prison sentence and was placed on three years probation. He must pay over $1,100 for a fine and law enforcement surcharge, but was found to have no ability to pay for Category II expenses. A pending simple misdemeanor case and other pending charges were dismissed, and this sentence shall be served consecutively to an aggravated misdemeanor case for reckless use of a firearm.
Harrison was originally charged with a class B felony for the November 14, 2019 incident in which a traffic stop in Stuart conducted by a Guthrie County Sheriff’s Deputy resulted in discovering more than five grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle.
