Tuesday, March 17th

7:26am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police with an arrest in the 400 block of North Olive Street.

9:15am: Jackson Norton 28 of Carroll was booked into the jail for interference with official acts and trespass 1st offense.

2:55pm: A deputy investigated a phone scam in the 200 block of 7th Street, Grand Junction.

3:30pm: A deputy and the Jefferson Fire Department responded to a grass fire in the 1200 block of Pioneer Avenue.

4:05pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 100 block of Cartwright Street, Rippey.

6:10pm: A deputy assisted with a out of control child in the 900 block of Sand Street, Churdan.

9:10pm: Joshua Smithson 42 of Perry was booked into the jail for driving while barred.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
