The Dallas County Board of Supervisors convened Tuesday morning in regular session.

Several agenda items were removed and promised to be addressed at a later date, as the Supervisors sought to shorten the meeting for social distancing purposes due to the state public health disaster emergency. The first action item was setting a public hearing for March 31st at 10 a.m. to review the five-year road construction program. That was followed by the canvass of the recent special election for the Perry School District, confirming that the revenue purpose statement measure passed.

The Board then approved a wetland credit purchase of .66 acres for the City of Indianola, and had discussion but no action regarding service areas for Heart of Iowa Regional Transit Authority (HIRTA). The meeting concluded with a closed session to discuss confidential records.
