The ADM track and field season has already raced to begin the year, but will unfortunately be unable to practice or compete until April 13th after the announcement by the ISHAA and the IGHSAU yesterday regarding high school athletics and the spring schedule. ADM teams both had good success last week at the Dickinson relays, but will see numerous events postponed or cancelled in the next few weeks.

The girls will not race at Dallas Center Grimes, Earlham, The Hugh Norman Coed Relays at ADM, and at Iowa City West. The boys will not compete at Earlham, Winterset, Hugh Norman Relays at ADM, Van Meter, and Iowa City West as well.

Both teams for now have their next official race on Tuesday April 14th with the girls at Ames and the boys at Pella Christian, though a lot can change between now and then. There will also be a question of how much practice time will be needed before they get back on the track as well.

ADM track and field and other spring athletes will look to stay in shape in the coming days and weeks with individual workouts.
