Friday, March 13th

11:15am: A deputy assisted with recovered property in the 900 block of Irving Street in Scranton.

1:05pm: A deputy investigated a vicious dog complaint 300 block of 4th Street in Rippey.

4:26pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Fire Department with a ditch fire in the 1200 block of O Avenue.

4:39pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the 600 block of Q Avenue.

5:34pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in the 700 block of 12th Street in Grand Junction.

9:29pm: Deputies checked a residence in the 2200 block of R Avenue for a subject with an active warrant. In the process of apprehending the subject a deputy was bit by a dog on the property.

10:02pm: Jason Dean Smits (37) of Jamaica, was booked into the Greene County Jail for charges of False Report to Public Entity and Driving While Barred.

Saturday, March 14th

11:33am: Deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the 2200 block of 130th Street.

4:54pm: A deputy investigated a theft complaint in the 700 block of 14th Street South in Grand Junction.

Sunday, March 15th

12:08am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a trespass complaint in the 700 block of Wild Rose Road.

2:49pm: Deputies assisted Churdan Fire and Jefferson Fire Department with structure fire in the 300 block of D Avenue. Greene County Ambulance and Lohrville Fire Department were also at the scene assisting.

5:14pm: A deputy assisted with a welfare check in the 200 block of Adaza Street.

5:52pm: A deputy investigated a stolen vehicle complaint in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.

6:17pm: A deputy investigated a possible intoxicated driver complaint in the area of 220th Street and A Avenue.

6:46pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway of 220th Street and E Avenue.

8:10pm: A deputy investigated a vehicle in the ditch in 2100 block of X Avenue.

10:57pm: A deputy assisted a Guthrie County Deputy with a physical domestic complaint in the 2100 block of 130th Street in Guthrie County.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
