The West Central Valley Wildcats girls soccer team will be one that is on the rise in the West Central Activities Conference this season, as one that went 7-10 last year but are returning a good chunk of their players. The Wildcats were a good offensive team last year, with 41 total goals scores through 17 games, or around 2.41 a game.

The key for the Wildcats might be on the defensive side of the ball, where they gave up 3.62 goals per game. This is a number that jumped from 2.4 from the year before, but they also had more goals as a team last year.  Now this is a team that will take some chances on the offensive end that might lead to some counter opportunities for the opposition.

If the Wildcats can continue to find an adjustment on the defense side of the ball, they could make the jump back into the winning column this year. The first practice for the Wildcats will be for now April 13th, after the announcement from the IGHSAU Monday morning.
