Calling all Greene County area teens: a free movie will be shown at the Sierra Community Theatre in Jefferson later this week.

Any youth in grades 6th-12th are invited to see “Call of the Wild” at the movie theater for free on Friday at 4pm. It will be the special premier showing of the movie, which is based on the book by Jack London. Limited space is available to the first 200 teens that sign-up at any of the Greene County libraries. Each attendee will receive a free bag of popcorn or $2 off at the concession stand. Parents and siblings are encouraged to attend with a paid admission.

Either before or after seeing the movie, county libraries encourage the teens to check out a copy of the book. The event is co-sponsored by the Greene County Librarians Association and the Greene County Board of Supervisors.
