Wednesday, March 11th

1:46am: An officer located an Open Door at 1000 North Cedar Street. The officer secured the building.

10:25am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call at 100 Ram Drive.

12:45pm: Jeff Johnston reported receiving the Social Security Scam Phone Call. He hung up and did not incur a loss.

2:23pm: A caller spoke to an officer about some suspicious activity in the 600 Block of South Olive Street.

4:57pm: A caller advised of a Barking Dog in the 100 Block of Lincoln Place. The officer is investigating.

5:32pm: An officer assisted a motorist with a flat tire near 220th and Oakland.

5:46pm: Tonya Varnell brought her juvenile daughter to speak with an officer about issues she was experiencing with a group of her peers. The officer worked to offer solutions to the issues.

5:49pm: Nicole Johnson reported receiving the Social Security Scam Phone Call.

5:58pm: Mary Ann Wright reported a possible sick raccoon in the 500 Block of North Maple Street. As the officer attempted to catch the animal it went into a building in the area. The homeowner was not home to give the officer permission to enter the building.

9:10pm: A Traffic Stop in the 500 Block of North Elm resulted in Silvia Bastidas Limon of Denison being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
