The public is invited to the annual Greene County Elementary Spring Concert.

The show’s theme is “Greene County Gold!” and elementary music teacher Emily Malamos says the theme is their take on this year’s summer Olympics in Tokyo. She points out the music and movement activities are inspired by the games. 

Elementary physical education teacher Sean Thompson has stepped into the role that former instructor Lori Danner had for several years. Malamos says working with Thompson has been a pleasure and they hope that the theme will propel the students to engage and watch some of the summer Olympics. 

The free performances will be at the Greene County Middle School gym Thursday at 1:45pm and 6:30pm. No pre-registration is necessary.
