The public hearing followed by possible adoption of the fiscal year 2021 budget will be considered by the Stuart City Council Monday.
The Council will also discuss the fiscal year 2019 city audit, a new family slide pad for the aquatic center, an update on financing for police department staffing and a vehicle purchase, and possible formation of a rescue unit committee. Next, the Council will consider the fourth pay estimate for the All Saints Addition, a vacation of the right-of-way between 7th and 8th streets, and resolutions pertaining to Casey’s General Store’s proposed expansion. Finally, the Council will discuss work done on the sports complex and proposed dog park, and a proposed change to a City ordinance regarding the city administrator’s authority over the police department.
The Council meets at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
