Plans for a new feed mill located in Yale were recently announced by Landus Cooperative.
The company, which already operates a grain facility in Yale, announced its intention to construct a 400,000 ton mill with major upgrades to receiving and the current four-million bushels of storage capacity. Landus already owns more than 80 acres east of the grain facility and the construction start date is contingent upon project planning and engineering. Specific project plans will be announced as details are finalized with industry partners, according to Chief Animal Nutrition Officer Mark Cullen. This announcement follows the recent hiring of Bagley native and Panora resident Matt Carstens as CEO for the cooperative.
