For the first time since Adair Casey and Guthrie Center merged, the boys basketball team has earned 10 wins.

The Chargers finished the year with a 10-13 record. To the naked eye, that might not look great, but it shows another year of improvement for AC/GC. Since the inaugural 2016-17 season, the Chargers have continued to improve upon their win total. In 2016-17, AC/GC won just three games, they matched that mark the next year before doubling it to six wins last season. This season, led by the first four-year class in AC/GC history, the Chargers reached double-digit wins. It was fitting that the teams two seniors led the way for AC/GC. Bryce Littler averaged 14.4 points per game, which led the team with Quynton Younger right behind him with an even 14 points per game. Younker led the team in rebounds with 165, with Littler right behind him with 133.

AC/GC will miss Littler and Younker, but will look for big seasons from it’s junior class that includes Eli Kading, Lucas Marsh, Clayton Wardyn, Newell Rogers, and Carter Hanson.
