A Des Moines woman was recently sentenced to jail after violating her probation in Adair County.

Court records show that 37-year-old Shannon Kay Keeney pleaded guilty to violating her probation for a deferred judgment on an original charge of third degree burglary, a class D felony. Keeney must spend 16 days in jail with credit for time already served. An arrest warrant for violating her probation was issued on November 25, 2019, about a month after she was given the deferred judgment for an August 24th, 2019 incident in which she was found with another suspect by Sheriff’s Deputies, the Stuart Police Department, and other agencies at Kuster Salvage & Recycling in Greenfield. Keeney was allegedly found with a receipt from a vehicle on the property.
