Greene County finished the 2019-20 boys’ basketball season with a 5-17 record. The Rams were 3-11 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play.

The season ended Monday night with a 75-40 loss in Glenwood to Glenwood in the opening round of Class 3A Substate 8 play. Senior playing their final games for the Rams that night were Nick Breon, Cael Fisher, Caden Lowmiller, and Carter Morton. Juniors are Zach Goff, Peyton Kinsey, and Jaxon Warnke. Sophomores include Bryce Stalder, Jackson Morton, and Max Riley. Freshmen were Richard Daugherty and Jesse Miller. Freshman Brayden Roberts and sophomore Caden Telleen also appeared in the postseason game.

The Rams averaged 52.1 points per game. They shot 35.5% from the field, 28.9% from three-point range, and 63.3% from the free throw line. The team averaged just under 28 rebounds per game, almost eight steals, and nearly 18 turnovers per game.
