National FFA Week is next week and the Greene County Chapter has several activities planned.

The festivities begin with a Community Breakfast event this Friday from 7-8:30am in the Ram Restaurant at Greene County High School in Jefferson. FFA members will serve the free meal and the public is invited to attend while supplies last. Jefferson Fareway is providing syrup for the pancakes, and Hy-Vee is providing the sausage. 

Then next week, there will be an FFA proclamation signing on Monday, followed by FFA members driving their favorite tractor to school on Wednesday. Next Thursday will be a dodgeball tournament with Greene County FFA against Coon Rapids-Bayard. The final event is an FFA hockey night at Iowa State University’s campus in Ames. 

National FFA Week is from February 22nd-29th.
