The West Central Valley girls basketball team outscored the Panorama Panthers on Tuesday night by five in the final three quarters, but unfortunately for the Wildcats they were outscored in the first quarter of play by the score of 17-2, and Panorama used that quick start to launch themselves into a victory with a 57-47 final. The Wildcats struggled to score to the 1st as shots weren’t falling and turnovers that led to a few Panorama points. The loss puts them at 12-9 on the year, but one that Wildcat fans should be excited about.
The boys were unfortunately were unable to get the victory as they fell by the score of 79-30. Senior Jake Egger had 10 points and 15 rebounds in the loss.
Districts will get rolling for both of these teams in a few days, with the girls hosting a home game on Saturday against ACGC and the boys to hit the road at ACGC next Monday.
